ROCK THE LAKE is a summer Music Festival with a socially distanced twist, set in a stunning valley around a lake on the North Wales border. It's picturesque setting and amphitheater style valley offer the perfect backdrop for an amazing day out and a safe way to enjoy a festival.

FREE day parking is provided for all visitors on site, just a short walk from the performing area (500m including gradual slopes).

Disabled drop off and collection points are available close to the stage. Disabled toilets available.

Lakeside seating is available for all visitors, with gold and silver customers having tables with table service. Please see the plan shown for zones and area details.

 GENERAL ADMISSION  - Watch an amazing line up of acts from the zone 2 standing area or take a seat in the zone 3 communal area (NO tables or table service).  SILVER TABLES  - Enjoy a bit of your own space with tables from 4 to 6 people adjoining the zone 2 standing/dancing area and say goodbye to queues with Food and Drink Table service. Usage of zone 3 communal area and toilets. Tickets sold per table from £30 per person | Under 2's-FREE (+booking fees)

 GOLD TABLES  - Enjoy some creature comforts with a complimentary drink on arrival, best view of the Stage with Tables from 4 to 6 people with parasol shades/covers. No queueing with Food and Drink service straight to your table. Dance at your table or use the Gold only front of stage standing area. Use of Gold only toilets. Sold per table from: £45 each | Under 2's-FREE (+booking fees)

 NEW*  OVERNIGHT CAMPING - Camping is available on site for festival ticket holders only with your own tent or small campervan.  £10 per person, under 2's FREE (+booking fees). Please see camping information below.

  • We are an outdoor event so please dress accordingly and bring sun cream where necessary.

  • Personal umbrella's are not permitted on site.

  • We reserve the right to change timings, dates and Acts where reasonably necessary without notice.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and once booked do not provide for customer cancellation as per our Terms and Conditions below.

A disabled drop off and collection point is available near to the lake. Please indicate to parking and/or security staff on arrival that you would like to use the disabled drop off area. Sorry, no visitor vehicle parking is permitted lakeside. A visitor carpark is available on site around 500m from the main performing area. The stone pathway from the carpark contains gradual slopes which are passable but harder going for wheelchairs and small wheeled prams. 

Disabled toilets are available in zone 1 area for Gold table customers and zone 3 for Silver table and general admission customers. Sorry we do not have disabled harness or swing facilities. 

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

In line with local or national legislation at the time of operating we reserve the right to alter the event site plan and remove zone 1 and zone 2 dance area's to ensure we can meet social distancing requirements if applicable. In such a case all visitors will be asked to remain in their bubble at all times and dance in their allocated bubble area only.

 

In the event we are not permitted to run any booked dates due to the venue's local authority restrictions or national lockdown restrictions as a result of Covid-19 and/or subsequent pandemics the event will be postponed until a future date. Any ticket holders not able attend at the revised date will be offered a full refund on commencement of the new event date, or a credit of the purchase price against future events at the venue. 

At present Face Masks are not required by visitors to this event, however please check our website again before travelling for the latest procedures and restrictions that may be in place. 

We do ask that all visitors respect other visitors' space and table areas.

When purchasing tickets online you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. Customers must read our event information to ensure the event is suitable for them before booking which forms part of our terms and conditions and covers procedures in relation event attendance and cancellation due to Covid-19 or subsequent pandemic restrictions.

Tickets purchased online will be sent via email as a PDF to the email address you used when making the booking. Please print these tickets and bring them with you on the day of your visit. If you are unable to print your tickets you are welcome to show your tickets via phone or tablet on your arrival. | Customers are advised to check their tickets upon receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Customers should contact the Reindeer Lodge immediately upon receipt if there is a mistake. | Each ticket is valid for admission of the number of people shown on the ticket only. Drinks (with exception of arrival drinks for Gold table holders), Food, Retail items and other attractions on site are not included in the ticket price and can be purchased separately on the day of your visit. | It is not permitted to bring food or drink (with exception of baby food) into the venue which is a licensed premises. | Please be aware that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. | Dogs are NOT permitted on site unless they are assistance dogs. | The price of the ticket shall be the price set at the time the Customer’s order is accepted by the venue. COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

KEEPING YOU SAFE - Although regulations are lifting we are operating with your safety in mind, with ample space between tables, regularly disinfected working areas and toilets, hand sanitiser points and designated area staff to reduce cross contamination, all our staff will be laterally flow tested before event dates and comply with our full Covid-19 risk assessment.

We will require all adult attendees to complete an entry form on arrival for TTP (Track, Trace, Protect) purposes.

We do encourage visitors to lateral flow test before attending to keep other visitors and our staff safe and if you have any of the following symptoms please do not travel to the event.

PHW have now confirmed a wider range of symptoms that are possibly related to Covid-19. These include 

  • Feeling unusually tired 

  • General ‘flu-like aches and pains (myalgia) 

  • Sore throat and / or hoarseness 

  • Shortness of breath or wheezing 

  • Persistent headache 

  • Runny or blocked nose 

  • Feeling sick (nausea), vomiting or diarrhoea 

 

As a reminder the 3 main symptoms are 

  • A high fever (over 37.8 degrees C, as measured with a thermometer) 

  • A new continuous cough (persistent and regular cough) 

  • Loss or change of taste or smell 

 

If you experience one or more of these symptoms please do not travel to the event. Please book a PRC test and isolate until a negative test result is received.

OVERNIGHT CAMPING

On site camping is now available for Festival ticket holders only. Make the most of your day with an overnight stay, or link 2 or more festival days together to create an unforgettable short break.

Camping is available overnight on the day of your booked festival tickets for £10 per person (+booking fees), per night (under 2's FREE).  Camping is based on use of visitors own tents or small campervan (<3.5t) with arrival from 12noon on day of festival tickets to departure by 10:30am the following day (unless more than one night's camping has been booked). 

Toilets are provided in the camping field(s). Vehicles are not permitted on the camping field(s) but close by parking on hard standing is available. Visitors staying over in small campervans are to use the hard standing areas provided, sorry we do not have electric hook up available. Large Campervans/Lorries and Caravans are not permitted.

Overnight stays are charged at £10 per person per night (+booking fees) and are subject to our camping and venues terms and conditions below. 

Camping Rules

You, together with all members of your party, are required to comply with the following rules:

·         We reserve the right of admission. We only accept responsible campers that are considerate to fellow campers/guests and be respectful of the environment.

·         All children must be closely supervised by an adult due to moving farm machinery and livestock nearby.

·         Dogs are not permitted on site, with the exception of assistance dogs. If you require an assistance dog this remains your responsibility at all times, must be on a lead/harness and not be left unattended at anytime. Assistance dogs are restricted to one per booking. You are responsible for any mess, which should be cleared up and disposed of immediately.

·         There must be no loud or disrupting noise after 22:00 before 08:00.

·         The Camping field is a tent only area. All tents must be non-permanent. VW type, small vans are accepted on hard standing areas only. Caravans are NOT permitted.

·         Leave your accommodation as you found it, ie: no litter or damage. You will be liable for any damages or excess cleaning caused to any of our property and will be charged.

·         Music players/radios must be kept to a reasonable volume and then switched off by 22:00.

·         No fireworks, Chinese lanterns, guns or weapons.

·         No hen/stag parties or weddings.

·         Drunk, disorderly or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave should this occur.

·         We cannot accept responsibility for your possessions, or any personal injury of any kind sustained while on Our land, subject to Section 8 - Liability. You must not stray into fields or buildings around the farm. This is for your own personal safety. 

·         No pitches are reserved and are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

·         No open fires are allowed. BBQs are permitted if raised off the ground to protect the grass.

·         You are liable at all times for any fires, BBQs and other activities undertaken around the site. We do not allow open fire of any sort inside your tent/unit due to the high risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. 

·         Food and drinks are permitted to be brought into the camping area, however NO food or drinks (with exception of baby food) will be permitted into the licensed Festival area.

·         The use of non-prescription or illegal substances on the property is strictly prohibited.

·         No trading or sales of any sort is permitted by visitors on the property.

·         We reserve the right to carry out spot checks of personal property brought on to the campsite or festival grounds where we reasonably believe a breach of the terms or rules has occurred.

·         Whilst on Our land, you and any members of your party must not enter any buildings apart for the toilets, or climb over any walls, fences or barriers or enter any gated areas.

·         Do NOT try to feed, touch or scare any of the livestock or wildlife on the property.

·         Any accidents on Our land must be reported to security or a member of reception staff so we can log them in Our Accident Book.

·         Check in is not before 12:00pm on day of Festival arrival. You must vacate the campsite by 10:30am on the day of your departure, unless a late check out has been granted by prior agreement, please ask the site management. 

·         You must keep to the 5mph speed limit on site for your own and others safety.

·         You must take large items of rubbish away with you i.e. broken, tents, cardboard, chairs etc. Only general food waste and packaging is to be disposed of in our bins. You may be liable to a £40 charge if we end up having to dispose of bulky items.

·         We do not offer any sort of storage facility for caravans or tents. If you do leave your property on our site, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you and after 14 days it will be sold and we will take the value of storage costs from the sale.

·         You must leave a gap of 6m between all units. You may be asked to move your tent/unit if pitched too close to another. 3m is acceptable for groups. 

·         Site gates are locked outside of arrival and departure times. Gates will be closed between 10pm to 9am, 2pm to 9pm and 10.30am to 12noon. If you need to enter or leave the site outside of these times, please see a member of the security staff who will be able to assist you.  

·         The prices are based on a nightly rate of £10 per person aged 2 years or over. Prices include VAT at the current prevailing rate.

·         Whilst we will make every effort to ensure that our prices remain unchanged, they may be amended at any time.

·         Prices do not include any additional services, features and facilities unless expressly stated.

·         Promotions, deals or discounted offers are subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount and may be withdrawn at any time. Retrospective refunds are not permitted against any offer or promotion advertised after such time a booking is made.

·         Payment is required in advance online by Credit or Debit Card by our website www.rockthelake.co.uk

·         Non-payment renders your booking with us as invalid and you will be asked to leave the site.
